Any recommendations???

Hey to anyone and everyone, Matt and I want to take a trip up the coast of California after my graduation. It is only going to be for a couple of days, but it will be the weekend of our 6th wedding anniversary so we want to make it a special trip. I can always look online or get a travel book, but if anyone has any recommendations for sites to see or places to stay I would love some feedback! Our main plan so far is to drive up the coast on PCH, then just drive home on the 5.

It depends - do you want city or quiet? I really like San Francisco, but if you like quiet, Carmel is really nice.

Hey Katie,
you have to call me... i have some great suggestions. Mike and I took this trip every summer before we had kids. Some must stops are Big Sur, San Simeon is a must to see Hearst Castle, Cambria, Morro Bay. I like Northern CA but not as much as I love the Central coast. If you have a couple of days only I would just head up to Big Sur and back down. Call me.. We are taking this trip next month- except we are talking about heading all the way up to Seattle.

I had wanted to take B there, but it didn't end up working out. It is in San Luis Obispo. They have themed rooms!! How awesome is that?
